RCDC undertook the MEP design and sustainability review for this mixed use project, with the majority of the building being designed as shell and core, with offices spaces being designed to CAT A.
The project refurbished an old large retail unit into mixed use buildings, including office space, small retail units, and a gym.
RCDC designed the central plant for the building and undertook an annual energy assessment to support. RCDC also put together the planning statement, assessment of alignment with the Council’s CEAP, and prepared the business case for the addition of renewable energy generation to be incorporated on site.
The sustainability assessment included the assessment of multiple sustainable options for the project, covering fabric upgrades, electrification, and PV panels.
