RCDC provided sustainability consultancy to find the most appropriate and cost effective carbon reduction measures for the school.
The school will provide new and modern educational facilities for the area.
RCDC undertook a sustainability review of existing design and proposed a number of sustainability measures that could be implemented. The design was also assessed against the Council’s Climate Emergency Action Plan. RCDC calculated the predicted annual energy consumption of the proposed design to present the business case for the sustainability proposals and supported the council’s application for government funding for the proposed decarbonisation measures.
